- You are to select a topic to research such as a famous person, an event in history, or a major discovery or invention. After selecting the topic, check with your teacher for approval.
- When you are scheduled for the computer, research your topic from one of the reference CDs. Print out your article.
- Next, you are to research your topic from an Internet Web Site. Print out your article.
- At home, read your material and highlight the important parts with a highlighter. Then write a rough draft about your topic in pencil.
- When you are rescheduled for the computer, type out your draft using a word-processing program (about one page).
- Staple all papers together and turn in to your teacher. You may design a cover page using a program such as "Print Artist" but this is not a requirement.
