| The Scientific
Method

The following
sheets were used to begin and guide students during their
project development. The first sheet I handed out was the "PROPOSAL SHEET". This began the process and the child's parent had to sign the paper. The second sheet was the "PROJECT PLAN". This helped each student in preparing for the scientific method. The third sheet handed out was the "PROGRESS REPORT #1 and #2". This was necessary to see how much progress each student was making along the way. The final paper was the "ASSESSMENT SHEET". This is necessary so each child can assess his own work. I found better projects are developed when each student critiques his/her own work. |
